USS Bluegill sinks Yubari

Captain Barr drew first blood on his ship's very first patrol - the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) Cruiser Yubari. His crew had indeed "gotten their ship's nose bloody." They went on to sink or damage 17 more ships for 63,059 tons.
